That was my bro's farewell on sat. Coming back next year april. :( Hope it'll be a great adventure and experience for him! I will miss you! And dun worry, i'll still give you your monthly allowance. Safekeep for u first! :D
Anyway, ive been having weird dreams of people recently. Vince and wee teng, some unknown person etc etc. And the most beautiful thing i dreamt of was my bedroom! It is open air concept and i could see the stars soo clearly! The sight was awesome. And i was distracted by my bro asking mi to eat. =/
Boss in bad mood recently. And im working full shift on mon, wed and fri. classes on tues, thurs and sat. Practically no free day. But then again, the month's gonna end soon! HAHA. And im soo excited for december season. With christmas coming up and my first d&d in my clinic and cg's gonna have some programs. Sounds really cool!
Things to give thanks for:
1) boss was guilty for scolding the wrong person and im redeemed from the grave error.
2) I found peter's (hope hk) facebook!
3) new friends
4) the church
5) tv
6) family
Let me explain the thanksgiving.
Of cos i gotta thank God for the church for which i found new friends. Though i transfered not long ago, im pretty surprised that i could communicate with them and they made mi feel at home. Esp seng, pris, jinqi and gerald who doesn't seem to stop talking. HAHA. I thought i'll be the only phleg there but apparently, there are quiet people there too! Eg: zy and hk. Maybe they are quiet becos they dunno me. But i cant be judgemental too. So take it that they are quiet then. heh.
Let me tell you sth amazing k?
On sunday, after service some of them has salsa class (which i thot it was fun and dun mind joining if i know the initial steps, haha) the rest of us went out. So, we were supp to r&r at starbucks but seng suggested pool. So we went over to meridien's. Then again, i dun usually play and i dun like the idea of alot of ppl crowding over a small pool table. So i asked whether anyone would be interested to have some ice cream over at B&J. Response was little,( because walking frm meridien to cathay is far) so hk went with mi. I felt abit weird cos i din see/talk to him before. i was praying that God would give us topic to chat abt.
And so we walked, he asked abt certain things frm youth and the culture differences and all. Mentioned that he saw mi before in youth and we talked abt our jobs. It was kinda ongoing and as he talked, i realised he is walking at the same pace as me!! HAHA. It was a culture shock becos im always the one lagging behind! And i smiled uncontrollably at him. (he must have thot im weird)
upon reaching B8J, we talked abt the flavours of ice cream and he was having a bad sore throat. So i thot im the only one eating and he watching me eat. (which is so uncomfortable) So i decided to promote the flavours which are not so sweet and tempted him with the discount i hold. In the end, we are happily eating ice cream!
After that, we are heading back to find the rest and saw gerald, he's having meeting at B&J, so we walked back to cathay again. =/ After his meeitng, abt to find the rest after their salsa and pool and we realised that they went home alr. :( left the 3 of us. Then im supp to meet wei at far east. So i asked hk whether he wants to walk there tgt since he has nth on and gerald has to go. Honestly i wasn;t expecting an okay. but he agreed anw. It indeed caught mi and frm cathay we started strolling. The weather is super hot and we walk in and out of shopping centres just to air ourselves. It must be retarded walking ard the levels. but oh wells, we did it anw.
And so, we reached far east!! I wanted to withdraw money and joined the q. Unfortunately, the atm cant dispense cash!! And guess what? hk suggested the underground at wisma so we walked all the way back jus to get some cash and walk back to far east. Im alr beat and perspiring by then. so being the hungry ghost, we ate ate some ice cream thingy at the basement. It was great and it did cool me down a fare lot. And there came wei and so we parted.
I cant believe i spent the whole day walking around orchard. But i did thank him for walking with me and holding the convo throughout. Its been long since i enjoyed talking. Thank you.
okay, im tired. gonna have lunch with kelly and off to teeth plucking and class! Thanks for reading the whole lot of my day on sun. xin ku ni le. :)
