Has been rather lazy to blog or even come online these few days. Busy training up my spiritual being. :) Anw, i went for leadership conference in malaysia and learnt pretty much abt myself over there. Its more of a self discovery kinda thing. Had a bad scare over snorkeling(if i spelt correctly). And it made mi realise certain things.
1. We are made for different things/likings. 2. i detest water based activities. 3. Man are self centered.
After the horrifying experience, i was lost for words. While the rest are busy snorkeling away, im there picking seashells which makes me feel great and relaxed. I thank God for the wind there and then and walking along the beach thinking how to explain to the rest why am i not comfortable with snorkeling. To my expectation, everyone questioned and i really felt bad for not joining. But yea, i shall not further elaborate anymore.
God has been putting this word in my head for awhile now. Differences. Like i said, we are all made differently. Some quiet, some bubbly. Some adventurous, some not. But we are all made attractive. Eg: Cats are attractive to dogs, mice to cats etc. So i thank God tt he made me attractive to somebody out there who will appreciate my differences. :)
I was talking to reynard abt this incident and asked if he would find his wife a burden if she isn't as adventurous as him. This is his ans.
Rey: Nope. I would encourage her to try, but if she is too scared, i wun force her. I will respect her decision and will follow suit.
I was dumbfounded. Many guys would find their wives holding them back from doing what they want to do and often choose someone who is like them. But to reynard, he said it with such simplicity which stunned and amazed me at the same time. It is indeed a priviledge to be his wife. (he is only 15 btw).
He made me realised that love is respecting one another and slowing down when there is a need. (not spiritualwise) Love is not self seeking. :)
